| Country coverage | Argentina only. Other countries, including any transit stops, are not covered, and this is not a claim of best coverage across the country. |
| Local networks | Movistar Argentina |
| Network technology | Connects to 4G/LTE where available. 5G is not confirmed on this plan. |
| Data & validity | Allowances run from 100 MB to 20 GB, offered in 7, 15 and 30-day plans. The core features are one fixed total and a set validity, not a daily refill. |
| Calls & SMS | Data only. You get no local phone number and no ordinary calls or SMS, so WhatsApp, messaging and internet calling draw from your allowance. |
| Hotspot | The listed networks support hotspot. Any device you connect draws from the same data allowance. |
| Your phone | Only compatible phones with eSIM support and a network-unlocked status will work. Confirm your exact model and regional variant before you buy. |

Frequently asked questions.
Answers to common setup and buying questions.
How should I choose my Argentina eSIM plan?
Start from how long you'll be away and how much you'll actually use. There is no option for just 1 day, so even a short stopover means a 7-day plan. The 1 GB plan valid 7 days at €1.84 suits light use when downloads happen on Wi-Fi, and 3 GB comes in 7, 15 or 30-day versions. Step up to 5 GB, 10 GB or 20 GB if you'll upload regularly or run a data hotspot. The cheapest plan isn't automatically the best value or the best price for you, and pricing should reflect your whole trip rather than the allowance alone. None of these plans is unlimited.
Will the 100 MB and 500 MB plans be enough for my trip?
They're small options best kept for brief essential use with maps and bookings already downloaded. The plans are labelled 100 MB and 500 MB. Even one day of background syncing or streaming can empty the 100 MB allowance, so switch off automatic uploads before you rely on it.
Which mobile networks can I use in Argentina?
Listed networks: Movistar Argentina. Connects to 4G/LTE where available. 5G is not confirmed on this plan. Speeds and signal vary with your phone, location and network conditions.
Can my phone use this eSIM?
Confirm your exact phone model and regional version support eSIM and that the device is network unlocked. On iOS, open Cellular or Mobile Data settings and look for Add eSIM; the Android path differs by manufacturer, so use the compatibility guide before you buy. Apple lists iPhone XS and later as eSIM-capable, but carrier and regional variants still matter.
Should I install the eSIM before departure?
Yes. Install over steady Wi-Fi and keep the supplied instructions saved. Installation and the start of validity are not necessarily the same moment, so follow the activation steps for your purchase. Don't treat the process as an instant installation guarantee; it depends on your connection and the provider's steps.
Can I continue using my messaging apps and regular number?
Your existing messaging apps can run over the travel eSIM's internet. These plans give you no local phone number and no ordinary calls or SMS. Verification codes sent to your regular number still rely on your home SIM and carrier, so check what it charges before leaving that line switched on.
Can I share my data allowance with a laptop?
The listed networks support hotspot. Any device you connect draws from the same data allowance. Every device on the hotspot draws from the same total allowance. Switch off automatic cloud backups and large software downloads on the laptop if the data needs to last.
Will the plan work if I cross the border?
No. These offers work in Argentina only. Arrange separate coverage for any other country on your itinerary and download border-transfer bookings before you go.
Does the data allowance reset each day?
No. Each displayed allowance is the total for the whole plan period and is shared by your phone and any hotspot devices. A longer validity does not raise the data amount, and there is no 14-day option, so a stay of 14 days fits the 15-day plan. Check both the allowance and the days before you add a plan.
What if I need more data or want a refund?
Read the options and purchase conditions supplied with your order. A top up is not confirmed as an option here, and a 'no contract' label is not a confirmed policy; a new purchase does not automatically extend an existing plan or carry data over. Refund eligibility depends on the applicable terms plus activation or use, so keep your order reference for support.
What should I check if my internet isn't working?
Confirm you're in Argentina, the eSIM is enabled and selected for mobile data, and the plan still has data and validity left. Apply any supplied roaming and APN instructions to the travel line. Toggle airplane mode briefly or restart, and if that fails, share your device model, location and order reference with support before deleting the profile.
How do I prevent home-SIM roaming charges?
Switch off automatic mobile-data switching and keep data roaming disabled on your regular SIM. Apply any travel-plan roaming instruction only to the eSIM, and remember calls and texts on your home line can still trigger your carrier's charges.
