Slovenia 50GB eSIM

For light use on a short break, 1 GB over 7 days starts at €0.27. The 3 GB data plans run for 7, 15 or 30 days at the same €1.70, so compare validity and data as well as price. A trip of 2 weeks fits the 15-day option, while 14 days of light use rarely needs the largest plans; one day in town barely justifies even the smallest. One month away points to the 30-day choices, and there is no monthly subscription here. For a longer holiday, 10 GB over 30 days costs €5.23, and 50 GB over 180 days covers an extended vacation. To judge which plan gives you the best value, compare the cost per GB and the validity; the best price is the lowest total that still covers your travel dates, but the cheapest plan on its own might expire before you leave. An affordable allowance still needs the right duration. Streaming, YouTube and video calls drain data quickly, and lowering video quality or disabling background features helps stretch a small allowance.

Listed networks: A1 Slovenia, Telemach Slovenia. Connects to 4G/5G where the network offers it. Speeds and signal vary with your phone, location and network conditions. An operator name is not a promise of best coverage, since signal quality and service vary with your location, phone and network conditions.

You need a phone that supports eSIM and is unlocked for other networks. Confirm the exact model and where it was sold, then check the compatibility guide. On iPhone, the Add eSIM option sits in Cellular or Mobile Data settings; on Android it is usually under Network & internet, SIMs. iOS and Android support can differ by regional model, so compatible phones must be verified per device. An eSIM is a virtual sim card held in the phone rather than a physical eSIM card you insert.

Install over reliable Wi-Fi and keep the instructions before you travel. Follow the plan-specific activation steps: adding the profile and starting its validity may be separate events. Scanning the QR code adds the line, but that does not guarantee the validity has started. Treat 'instant installation' as a convenience for setup, not a promise about when your days begin. At your destination, enable the prepaid travel line and set it for mobile data.

Your messaging accounts, including WhatsApp, can run over this eSIM's internet connection, but the plan gives you no local phone number and no ordinary calls or SMS. If family expects to reach you on your home number, keep that SIM active and check its roaming charges. Bank verification texts depend on your regular SIM, carrier and bank, so leave those on the home line.

The listed networks support hotspot. Any device you connect draws from the same data allowance. Tethering or a data hotspot simply lets other devices draw from the same allowance. Pause cloud backups and large software downloads while sharing, since those features use the same total.

No. Each plan is a fixed total data allowance for its stated validity, so it is not unlimited and it does not refresh after 1 day or any other day. There is no daily reset, and hotspot or tethering use comes from that same total.

No. These offers cover Slovenia only. A border crossing or onward journey needs a plan that explicitly includes the next destination, and a local operator name does not extend coverage into neighbouring countries. Roaming outside the listed area is not included, so check before you travel.

Choose a plan with enough allowance and validity from the start. If you need another purchase, buy it online and follow its setup instructions; it does not automatically extend an existing plan or move unused data across. Use only the top up or profile-reuse options shown with your order, check the pricing, and remember a 'no contract' search term does not replace reading the purchase terms.

Confirm you are in Slovenia, the travel line is enabled and set for mobile data, and the plan still has data and validity. Apply the supplied APN and roaming instructions, then briefly toggle airplane mode or restart the phone. If the network is weak or busy, move to another location and keep the profile installed while you seek help. Do not assume activation failed until you have tried these steps.

Turn off automatic mobile-data switching and keep data roaming disabled on your regular SIM. Any roaming setting the travel eSIM needs applies only to that line. Calls and SMS on your home phone number can still attract your carrier's charges, so keep that network's rules in mind.

Keep the order reference, device model and installation details ready when you contact support. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase conditions and on activation or usage, so read those terms before you buy. For service recommendations or pricing questions, check the plan details rather than relying on general advice. Keep the profile installed while a connection issue is investigated.
